Ten cards, one kit--Spellbinders Heart Hands
I'll confess, I was not very excited about this month's kit from Spellbinders. The colors are just too muted and subtle for me. I do like the hand dies, and will be using them again. But I need some cards to give away as a set for a late Christmas present so I opened this one up and proceeded to copy the examples provided almost exactly. Then I copied a couple of them from a user on YouTube (thanks, Stamping with Jill). Then I made a few "pile on" cards.
I don't know if the person I am giving these to can use a bunch of note cards that say basically, "you are beautiful, great, etc." but that seems to be the theme of a lot of card kits these days. If I want to make birthday, sympathy or thank you cards I need to look elsewhere for the sentiments.

The last of the Christmas cards, this year anyway.
This one is using the Spellbinders' small die of the month, "Daydreaming", with the tree from the "Truckin' Through the Seasons and greenery sprigs from last year's Sparkling Christmas kit.
The following 3 are using the Michael's "Say Freeze" pad I got last year. I still haven't made a dent in it.
This last one is using the Michael's "Happy Pawlidays" pad I got last year. I also used the loopy frame from the October Spellbinders' kit called "Whimsical Forest". I just discovered that several of the themes of Spellbinders' kits are from a New Zealand designer called Rosie's Studio. Wow, best kept secrets, I guess.

Merry Wishes part 3
I think I'm done with Merry Wishes for a while. I still have lots of stuff left in the kit but now I am tired of it. Plus, the December kit came today.
This card, below, features a silhouette die from Spellbinders called Hanging Stockings. I have no idea when it came out, but I'm certain I bought it on clearance a few weeks ago. I used paper and puffy stickers from the kit, so it still counts, right?

Wise Men Still Seek Him
Using Echo Park's Wise Men Still Seek Him collection, these cards are my first Christian based Christmas cards. Brought to you by popular demand. Really, my brother said he preferred them. It was interesting working almost exclusively with stickers and cut-apart focal points. I may try it again some time. I know the Spellbinders kits come with a lot of pre-colored and cut images, but they also come with exclusive dies to make it interesting.

Merry Wishes, part 2
Here are a few more cards from the Spellbinders' Merry Wishes card kit. Just in the nick of time, too, since the next one is on the way. I suspect there will be a few more with this kit because I've barely made a dent in it. Wow.
This card features the cute snowman from Spellbinders' November Small Die of the Month, Frankie Goes to the North Pole. The card below features the tree from the same set. Also, I think I really like the puffy sticker words. What fun!
