Simply no mojo for cards

I have been sewing for the last month, and have no mojo left for cards. And it's not like the sewing is that great, either.  Sewing pants that fit are like looking for a unicorn.
So, I decided to slap out some cards to get me going again, sort of. While not entirely creative, I'm hoping they will jump-start my imagination again.

I'm probably going to enjoy the die-cut cartoon animals (I certainly bought enough of them), but I'm still trying to make them look OK.

Oddly enough, just looking at the photos has given me some ideas. I may be back with these 2 again after a bit more embellishment. Or not.
