Nordic moose!

I love this Nordic Moose from Poppy Stamps but doing it in white silhouette made it hard for me to photograph the details. Do you think he needs a bow on his antlers?

The red and green plaid paper is from Honey Bee Stamps, and the sentiment is from Spellbinders'.

He's propped up on Fiestaware plates.

Little Whittles

I'm playing with my little Whittle dies from Poppy Stamps. I'm also making envelopes with old 12 x 12 paper I'll never use otherwise.

I'm using the hearts embossing folder that was last year's folder of the month from Spellbinders.  This may be the closest I come to making Valentines, but we have a few weeks to see about that.

As I'm typing this, I'm getting my new AC unit installed. It's been an expensive month for me so far: new washer, dryer, microwave and AC unit.  Oh well, at least I have plenty of craft supplies.

More Christmas cards

So, I pulled stuff from all the places for these.  What can I say, I put off taking pictures for as long as I could on these.

Here I've used Spellbinders' "Chill Bear" with a border die from Gina Marie Designs.  The blue background is made with Distress Mica sprays.  The "Fa La La" diecut is from scrapbook.com. What do you think, scarf or no scarf? Also I'm STILL using up card bases from my mom, 22 years later.  Who knew it would go on so long?

Another 5 x 7 card from the Michael's paper pad from last year.

Here I used parts from the Santa Lane mega kit from Spellbinders, with an embossing folder also from Spellbinders.  I used some gilding polish to bring up the design.

Here is a mix of Spellbinder dies and embossing folder, with a "Joy" die from My Favorite Things.  I used gilding polish on the background again to bring up the design.

There were several cards made with the moose from Gina Marie Designs, using this diagonal layout.

I used the cute little Whittle Deer from Poppy Stamps on this one.

Another 5 x 7 cards. They turned out to be quite popular with my freind that I gave them to.  I guess size does matter.

And, my last card (this year) with the Santa from the mega Santa Lane kit.

Bigger cards, part 2

Here are some more 5 x 7 cards using the big paper pad I got from Michael's. With these I used a variety of older dies from the stash, including this outline hibiscus from Paper Smooches.

The cute snails are Whittle dies from Poppy Stamps.

The big "happy birthday" edge die is unbranded. On the inside I used a Whittle crocodile and a snarky sentiment.

It's hard to see, but this one has the Whittle crocodile and some cute little Whittle crabs.

Now, it's time to do something else for a while.

Sunshine and shadows

So here's what happens when I take my cards out on the front porch in the late afternoon to photograph them.  Shadows, that's what happens.  And it was so hot that I knew it was happening and I didn't care.

This is the layered sunflower from Honey Bee Stamps. The sentiment is from the "My Favorite Flower" stamp set with matching dies. The gingham paper is from Honey Bee Stamps, too.

Here are two more from the impressionist paper pad I was trying to kill recently.  These panels were cut already and in my scrap box. Imagine that! And the flying birds were in my sequin dish on the side of my desk.  They've got to fly!

Last (for now) is the cute Whittle pig and sunshine from Poppy Stamps.  The ink smooshed background was another panel that was in my scrap box. I was determined to use it this time.  See, I'm still on my "use it up" spree, even if the sunflower die and the whittle animals are not old (to me anyway).
