Party Parrot is back!

More 5x7 cards with Spellbinders' die kits of the month for May, 2024.e birds are Tropical Friends, and that big pink flower is from the Grand Tropical Flamingos. Or maybe Tropical Grand Flamingos, I can't remember!  The background is from an old Michael's 12x12 pad which I broke down last year.

I still have a couple of these birds so keep partying, all you parrots and toucans out there!

Party parrot says Howdy!

Spellbinders' Tropical Friends dies the 3D embossing folder of the month on the green card.

I have made a formula for using the Spellbinders 3D embossing folders in my Big Shot:

I take one tab off the platform, add 3 cardstock shims (the backers in the packaging for Spellbinder's embossing folders, LOL) and one Magic Mat.  I put the embossing folder down on the platform and put all the other layers on top of that so the folder doesn't get warped.   So how thick IS that top tab???

Flamingos are fla-mazing!

From Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for May 2024, Tropical Grand Flamingos, these are just amazing!  The big tropical flower was very fun to assemble.

The sentiments are from Sassy's LLC.

In the card below, I had a 5 x 7 piece of patterned paper that reminded me of a beach, so I ran with it. It came from a big Michael's watercolor pack that I've had for years. The little crabs and fish are Poppystamps Whittle creatures. So fun!

Another Whittle creature peeping out from the inside!

More rain boots

Another set of rain boot flowers.  I've enjoyed these so much I went back and ordered the fall version which is hiking boots with fall foliage.

The background here is a panel I white heat embossed with My Favorite Things background of scripty writing, then ink blended with one or two Distress Oxide inks.  It's been so long I can't remember much about it.

Charming improvised vase

So, I'm running a few months behind in using new dies, like these rainboots from Spellbinders.  The boots are cute but I really like the flowers.

Owl be seing you, part 2

Let's hear it for the Spellbinders' Wise Owl. It is the small die of the month for March, 2024, and I'm still having fun with it.

I finished the insides of the cards with sentiments from Sassy's LLC, a content creator on YouTube who creates "kits" with multiple sentiments in many sizes.

I have gotten a lot of mileage out of that Hero

Arts sentiment set. I have used this "You Did It" stamp more than any other single stamp I own. I think.

Put your cats in a row!

Cats in a row, what can we say?

The wood "fence" embossing folder came from that cheap place based in China. The die is from Kokorosa Studios.
