Just moosing around

I got out my Inktense pencils and had some fun with this moose.  Yes, another stamp from The Alley Way Stamps. This one is called Moosing You. I just love him and you'll be seeing him again and again, I think.

I used Memento ink for the moose, and clear embossed him so the ink wouldn't run between the sections.

When I watch other card makers on YouTube, I often think I would have stopped before they did. So now I'm thinking that maybe I should add a black faux stitching line just above the "hill". What do you think?

Oh, happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

Oh give me a home, where the buffalo roam...

Well, as promised, here are a couple of paper pieced buffalo cards. I just love this guy but I haven't had time to color him yet, so patterned paper to the rescue!

This buffalo stamp is "Buff", from The Alley Way Stamps, and I think I'm going to have even more fun with him in the future.

All those eyes on YOU!

More loving monsters, what can I say? These are from The Alleyway Stamps' Oogles set. It's hard to tell by the photo, but there are glossy accents on all those eyes. Whew!

Also, this buffalo will be featured on a card soon, if I ever find my Versamark ink pad. I am going to put the sentiment in white on the dark card. Or at least that's the plan. Seriously, I do hate losing stuff on my desktop.

My Monsters Miss you. Really.

While I was waiting for my new monsters to arrive, I made this card with some of my old monsters. The ones looking through the window are paper piece from The Alley Way Stamps set Toxic, and the blobby guy out front is from TAWS' Buggin' Out.

I was going to enter the sketch challenge at Paper Players, but I'm way to slow to get my stuff up in time. Here is the site, and here is the sketch I was attempting to follow:

It's another one for the Operation Write Home box. I'm looking at maybe sending a small 6x6" box by May at this rate.

On a funny side note, this is the straightest picture I could get in a reasonable amount of time with my back patio photo setup. Hey, it is very breezy today; a totally BEAUTIFUL Florida spring day.

But I really need to work on my indoor photo setup so I can stop chasing paper around the patio.

Monster wishes for You!

I've waited for this bunch of monster stamps to come back in stock, and they are finally mine! This is from Oogles (The Alley Way Stamps) and it includes several funny monsters and this adorable guy. This card could be for a birthday, and that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

It's going to Operation Write Home, as soon as I have enough for a box to send. This could be months at the rate I craft them up.
