Nordic moose!

I love this Nordic Moose from Poppy Stamps but doing it in white silhouette made it hard for me to photograph the details. Do you think he needs a bow on his antlers?

The red and green plaid paper is from Honey Bee Stamps, and the sentiment is from Spellbinders'.

He's propped up on Fiestaware plates.

Michael's paper pads

Every so often I get the urge to try to use up some of my 12 x 12 paper pads that I HAD to get from Michael's.  I swear those paper pads have pheromones that call to us.

Anyway, I created a few A7 sized Thanksgiving cards, and one A2 housewarming card.

On this card, I used owl stickers that I got from the Dollar Tree 3 years ago, and an oak tree branch die from Honey Bee stamps.  That die isn't features on many cards online so, here's some love for it.

The sentiments for the housewarming card are from a free printable from Sassy's LLC.

Dianthus get well

So, I guess my sister got Covid-19 for the third time. And it was during a cruise and she got put off the ship. Her significant other and my sister-in-law got to go on and enjoy the rest of the cruise. Some people catch all the breaks, right?

The flower die is Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Dianthus, and the plaid paper is from an old My Favorite Things paper pad.

Christmas card season is finally here!

It's finally Christmas card season, and I'm so happy to be working with these Lovely Layers Doves from Honey Bee Stamps.  The first one, above, is an A2 card on a pre-printed panel.  The "peace" word is from Gina Marie Designs.

These 2 cards are in 5" x 7" format, which is prefered by my friend that I give a lot of cards to. I guess size really does matter.  These papers are from big paper pads from Michael's.
The sentiment stamp is from a set I got from a cheapie site.  The frame dies are also from Honey Bee Stamps.

More blooms, of course.

Three more sets of flower cards.  This first one uses Spellbinders' Be Bold Blooms, the next was flowers cut from the tie-die paper pad I've been working on using up.  The third is a generic flower that was cut from white cardstock and lightly shaded with some Distress Oxide in Worn Libstick. The greenery is from my leftovers box, and the sentiments are from Honey Bee Stamps.

Bigger cards for the time being

So, I have almost used up all the 5 x 7 card bases that I inherited from Mimi in 2004. Here are a few of the cards I made with a 12 x 12 pad from Michaels'.

The birds are a die from Paper Smooches, the hello is unbranded.

This is made with a combination of dies from Spellbinders and Gina Marie Designs.  The sentiment is from a very old set from Lawn Fawn.

Let's hear it for the butterfly from Honey Bee Stamps. The oval die is from Gina Marie Designs.

The "hugs" die is unbranded.

No dies, all the patterned paper. The sentiment has been stamped a while and was just waiting for a card to hop on!

The die was cut with a Gina Marie Designs die and embossed with a folder from Spellbinders.  The "thanks" is from an unbranded die.

Sunshine and shadows

So here's what happens when I take my cards out on the front porch in the late afternoon to photograph them.  Shadows, that's what happens.  And it was so hot that I knew it was happening and I didn't care.

This is the layered sunflower from Honey Bee Stamps. The sentiment is from the "My Favorite Flower" stamp set with matching dies. The gingham paper is from Honey Bee Stamps, too.

Here are two more from the impressionist paper pad I was trying to kill recently.  These panels were cut already and in my scrap box. Imagine that! And the flying birds were in my sequin dish on the side of my desk.  They've got to fly!

Last (for now) is the cute Whittle pig and sunshine from Poppy Stamps.  The ink smooshed background was another panel that was in my scrap box. I was determined to use it this time.  See, I'm still on my "use it up" spree, even if the sunflower die and the whittle animals are not old (to me anyway).

Pink coneflower with bee

Here is the last pink coneflower, with a curious bee.  This is a larger format card, with more Distress Oxide Ink blending and gold splatter on the flower and leaves.

Do you think it needs bling?  What kind?

Birthday flowers

These birthday flowers are from the Lovely Layers Wildflowers dies from Honey Bee Stamps. The white panel on the top card is embossed with a folder from Spellbinders, "Garden Path", which was the embossing folder of the month for March 2022. The white panel on the bottom card is cut from a Spellbinders' die "Fluted Edges".

Happy Mother's Day, all you moms!

It's hard to see in the photo, but the coneflower and the leaves are splattered with gold. The birthday sentiment does double duty. It reads, "You're one of my most favorite people to celebrate".

The coneflower is from a die from Honey Bee Stamps, inked up with Distress Oxides and splattered with gold paint. The sentiment is also from Honey Bee Stamps.  The MOM letters are cut with Lawn Fawn's Finley's ABCs.
