Dancin' moose!

This is the "Dancin' Moose Klondike" from Spellbinders.  He's just so stinkin' cute!  The white panel is embossed with the 2D embossing folder of the month from July, "Hexi Snowflake", and the striped paper and gems are from a Michael's paper kit from last year.  The sentiment is a free printable from Sassy's LLC, a channel on YouTube.

He's so tall that it needed to be a 5 x 7" card!

Yes, he's propped up on a Fiesta plate.

Michael's paper pads

Every so often I get the urge to try to use up some of my 12 x 12 paper pads that I HAD to get from Michael's.  I swear those paper pads have pheromones that call to us.

Anyway, I created a few A7 sized Thanksgiving cards, and one A2 housewarming card.

On this card, I used owl stickers that I got from the Dollar Tree 3 years ago, and an oak tree branch die from Honey Bee stamps.  That die isn't features on many cards online so, here's some love for it.

The sentiments for the housewarming card are from a free printable from Sassy's LLC.

First Christmas cards--Hark the Newborn King

I brought out a kit I got last year from Simon Says Stamp, Hark, The Newborn King.  I had already sort of started some of these so I finished them up.  The patterned paper did most of the work. I stamped and embossed the sentiments right on the image, then added other embellishments like die cuts, spattering, foiled washi tape, and some star shaped confetti.

Dogs in Halloween Costume, How Cute is That?

I love the meme that goes around every year with the 3 yellow labs in ghost costumes, all ready for Trick or Treat.  So when Spellbinders came out with a die set for these I was all over it!  I didn't get the other set with sentiments in them, as they were from either Better Press or Glimmer, both of which I do not have the tools or desire to do.  So the outside "Happy Halloween" is a die-cut from a different set, and the inside sentiments are printed on lightweight cardstock and glued inside.

Except I had already ordered a similar one from the cheap Chinese place.  I looked all over for the brand name for the cheap one and couldn't find it not even as clipart. What I've seen on the cheap Chinese site is that a lot of the dies are ripoffs of .gif  or other clipart, but not necessarily other die brands.  What are the ethics there?  Same art but different product?

This one is the Spellbinders' "Woof or Treat". So cute.

This one is from the Chinese site.  If you know where this design is from, please let me know so I can purchase it authenticlly from the real artist.

Oh yes, I did buy 4 more big paper pads from Michael's this week, 3 of them Halloween  themed.  I have gift cards and I'm not holding back any more! Although my stack of paper is threatening to slide over again.

Spooky house!

It's a start on Halloween!  I've had these generic, no-name dies in my stash for a few years now and finally broke them out! I think the glue behind the vellum ghosts adds to the creepy factor, don't you?

The "BOO"s were cut with Lawn Fawn letter dies.

A New Lizard in my 'Hood.

We are basically overrun with iguanas here, but today I saw my first Agama.

Peter's Rock Agama, to be specific. This one is about a foot long.  He is an invasive species, as are most of the "interesting" big lizards.  This is also a result of escaped or released exotic pets.

Party Parrot is back!

More 5x7 cards with Spellbinders' die kits of the month for May, 2024.e birds are Tropical Friends, and that big pink flower is from the Grand Tropical Flamingos. Or maybe Tropical Grand Flamingos, I can't remember!  The background is from an old Michael's 12x12 pad which I broke down last year.

I still have a couple of these birds so keep partying, all you parrots and toucans out there!
